We’ve got some more great news to share, as we’ve been shortlisted for not one, but TWO award categories at Cardiff Business Awards 2019. We’re nominees for ‘Creative and Digital Business of the Year’ as well as ‘Employer of the Year’.
Both award categories are particularly special to us as a digital agency. We’ve been on an incredible journey over the last few years and we’re humbled to be recognised on the Cardiff business scene as an impactful business in the creative and digital sector.
As a finalist for the potential ’employer of the year’, that’s pretty special for us too, because if you know much about us then you’ll know of our incredible culture and how important the team are in making great websites, software and business success happen for our clients. As a business we’ve worked really hard to be a place that’s fun to work, that’s willing to innovate, that’s into producing high quality and to have a group of people who care deeply about each other and the clients we work for. Why? Because it’s the right thing to do, but also because we believe it’s the best way to grow and to provide even more innovative digital products for great clients. We’ve positioned ourselves to attract the very best people and the very best client opportunities to partner and work with us here at Illustrate Digital.
It’s been an exciting start to 2019 for the team, with our recent win of the Business Services award at Cardiff Life Awards back in March, amongst welcoming some great new team members and launching brilliant work for clients too.
Of course, this isn’t our first appearance at Cardiff Business Awards either. In 2018 we were also nominated for ‘Creative and Digital Business of the Year’, alongside a nomination for little old me in the ‘Young Business Person of the Year’ category too!
2019’s awards event
The Cardiff Business Awards will be happening on Friday 21st June 2019, at City Hall in Cardiff. We’ll find out on the night whether we’re absolutely ecstatic winners or just very pleased runners up, either way we can’t wait for another great night out celebrating our achievements as a team. As the MD of our agency, from me personally and from our team as a whole, I’d love to say a personal thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way. We started life as a small business in the North of the UK and have since grown to a thriving digital agency in Cardiff, working with some of the UK’s biggest brands and impacting local businesses all the same.
We’ve brought on board some amazing clients who give us the freedom to do our best work, we work strategically alongside our partners to improve the industries we’re working in and have also gained solid advice and encouragement from great advisors and mentors along the way.
