TC Consult – A quantity surveying consultancy.

The Challenge

After a brave step for TC Consult, a quantity surveying consultancy based in Cardiff, for their company rebrand after 10 years, we were approached in collaboration with Really Helpful Marketing to help create a new website in WordPress. The brief was to apply the design and marketing strategy that had been created, in order to build a website that’s totally on-brand and speaks of the industry-leading service that TC offer to their clients.

What We Did

Our journey with TC Consult started with a user experience and business development strategy, to help figure out who their buyers are and what causes them to buy. This helped to lead decisions on the design of the site in relation to what customers need to know when looking for quantity surveying and project management consultancy. TC Consult are well established with a great portfolio and this needed to be expressed on their new site, which is where our design was primarily focussed.

We decided that imagery would be key to explaining what TC do and to guiding their users through the website. The content is set up in a way that no matter where you are on the site, you’re able to explore more about the brand, viewing case studies from a service page, sector pages from case studies and so on. This all ties in nicely with the bespoke development work we’ve done within WordPress for the site to be easily managed by the TC team. To do this we’ve utilised custom post types and advanced custom fields, which has created a strong site structure to build on going forward.
